Summer is just around the corner. At last, here's a great Barbecue for all the whole family!
Choosing the right Barbecue can be difficult - there are just so many out there. However, I recently found a whole range that tick all the right boxes. They are the portable Weber Q Gas Grills and there's bound to be one that has everything you need. I think they're great and my personal favourite is the Q200.
Why?
Well you see, I'm rather particular when it comes to Barbecues. I grew up cooking outdoors over fire pits in the woods, on makeshift grills in campgrounds and while climbing mountains. Then I discovered the flexibility of an LP gas grill. For 20 years, I've searched for the right one. I've tried lots of different models and have to admit I've wasted a lot of money on models that just didn't do it for me. Some were great for certain things, but not for others. If family or friends pop around unannounced, your outdoor experience is always on hand. Simply fire up the gas by pushing the simple ignition button and you can have steaks sizzling away in just minutes. No mess, no mad dash to the store for charcoal, no waiting for it to be hot enough, The grill is there and ready whenever you want it every time! By the way, the Weber Q 200 has a surprisingly large grill area, handling up to 10 steaks or a few rib racks at a time. Perfect for 4th of July - and any other celebration! Being light, it's easy to fold up to take with you to the park, the beach, a tailgate party or wherever you want to use it.

2. Appearance
Have you noticed how attractive the latest models of BBQ grills are? Some of them are an art form in themselves. Whatever make/model you choose, they are often the focal point of an outdoor kitchen. The Weber Q Gas Grills are stylish with removable shelves and a whole range of accessories and attractive covers, so you can leave them out in all weather. Some of them are table-top models, while others feature integral wheels. The reason I like the Q200 so much is that it can be both, with an optional base unit (with wheels) for ease of transportation.

Gas grills are great to take to the beach or park for an afternoon. You can have food cooking when you want it, whereas with charcoal, you have to wait. With gas, you can pack up and leave when you want without having to wait for the coals to cool down enough to empty them. No waiting and no worries about coals falling on the ground or someone's foot and burning them. Gas is just so much safer. You control the flame and make sure it's only the food that's cooking!
4. Hygiene and Tidy up
Many models now feature an easy to clean cast iron cooking grate enameled with porcelain. On the Q series, the grates have tight spacing so food doesn't fall through into the drip pan. They're so much easier to clean than the old fashioned ones. All of them have a removable drip tray underneath, again for easy clean-up.
